ILAE Genomics is a research infrastructure supporting the International League Against Epilepsy (ILAE) Commission on Genetics, Taskforce on Sequencing Data Sharing. The goal of this Initiative is to serve as an international resource and central repository for genomic data for people with epilepsy. The Initiative represents a continuation of previous collaborative efforts and will include data from Epi4K, EuroEPINOMICS (RES, CoGIE), EpiPGX, CENet, and Epi25 in future analyses. We envision that this platform will be collaborative, with the goal of making these data available to the broader research community to further genetic discoveries in the epilepsies and move us closer towards precision treatments.
Participation is open to all partners at academic institutions that are interested in contributing or analyzing genomic data of individuals with epilepsy. For a quick overview of the rationale, consortium structure and aims, slide decks are available in the Download section.
